What's more engaging to watch; someone speaking at you about their ideas, or someone who uses visual aids to show you what they're talking about?

We're all, to some extent, visual learners. So it makes sense that the White House recently used illustrations, charts, and pictures to drive home points made during the president's 2016 State of the Union Address.

It doesn't matter whether you agree with the president's policies or his politics, it's obvious that telling without showing is not an effective or engaging way to communicate to your target audience.
